Pamela (Pam) Kay Herrell was born on January 31, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio to Gwendolyn Herrell and Andrew Herrell. Pamela entered into eternal rest on April 27, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from West High School, Columbus, Ohio and later received an Associate’s Degree from Columbus State Community College. She had a fulfilling career at Ohio Health for 27 years. Pam was baptized at an early age by her grandfather, the late Reverend James Brown Harris, Sr., Grace Independent Methodist Church. Dedicated to her calling, she later united with the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorate of the late Rev. G. Thomas Turner, Sr., where she has been a faithful member for over 30 years.
Pam had a spirit of service and a sincere attitude of humility. She had a heart for serving others. That same self-sacrificing spirit shined through as a caregiver for her grandparents and her mother. She also graciously raised and loved her nephew, Andrew Herrell, the son of her late sister Andrea Herrell. She was the Servant Leader of the Focus Ministry. She was active in the Health and Garden Ministry, the Professional Sports Ministry, the Ushers Ministry, the
Leadership Conference Ministry, the PULSE Ministry, and was a chaperone for the youth who attended Lott Carey. She was also active in the EUMBA Women’s Auxiliary. Pam so loved serving that she became involved with the Share the Love
Ministry where meals are served to the community every weekend at the Kingdom Power Baptist Church under Pastor Quentin L. Respress. Pam loved God’s preached word! She was always equipped with her notebook and pen ready to scribe every Sunday sermon.
