Pastor Damon Leroy Robbins

Damon Leroy Robbins, age 86. Sunrise November 12, 1927 in Martin's Ferry, OH. Sunset August 4, 2014 at his home in Columbus, Ohio. Rev. Robbins was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Portsmouth, OH where he served as Pastor for 25 years. He was a member of NEMA (North End Ministerial Alliance), Eastern Union Association, Simmons Bible College, and the Columbus Baptist Ministerial Alliance. He also built Mt. Zion in 2002. Rev. Robbins was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Robbins. Left to cherish his memory are; sons Damon L. Robbins, Jr., Pythian Lee Robbins, Jonathan C. Robbins, spiritual sons Stan (Deborah) Griffin, Torrence (Debbie) Dunn, Tony (Stacie) Cornett, and Roger Farraugher, one daughter Rebecca (Jonathan) Jones, ten grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
