Pastor Emeritus Leroy Bush

Pastor Emeritus Leroy Charles Bush, age 81. Sunrise April 12, 1936 in Tuscaloosa, AL and Sunset April 30, 2017 in Westerville, OH.

Pastor Bush is a graduate of East High School and attended Columbus State University. He played with The Minor League Baseball League. He retired from Lucent Technology and was the Founder/Pastor Emeritus of New Life Baptist Church. Pastor Bush was a member of Columbus Baptist Ministerial Alliance, Columbus Baptist Pastor Conference and Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randall Leroy Bush.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Helena J. Bush; sons, Shannon Bush, DeAndre (Kim) Broadus Sr. and Kimball (Patricia) Johnson; daughters, Teresa(Harry) Nixon and Quan Bush; sister, Frances Eberhardt; grandchildren, Marcelus, Caleb, Levi, Tyrishia, DeAndre Jr., Miranda and Brandon; niece,, Mary J. Phifer; sister in law, Mary Harris; brothers in law, Selester, David, Clarence and Donald Johnson; Pastor Aaron (Doris) Hull and New Life Baptist Church and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 6:00pm and Home Going Service 7:00pm Sunday May 7, 2017 at Refuge Baptist Church 400 N. 20th St. Procession will leave from New Life Baptist Church 2720 Abington Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 at 10:30 for 11:00am Graveside Service.
