Patricia Ann Brown, lovingly known as “Tish”, was born on April 24, 1948, in Watkinsville, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of John and Katherine Brown and grew up alongside her siblings, Ola Davidson Johnny Ross Brown and Robert Cecil Brown. With a caring and giving spirit, Patricia touched the lives of many with her outspoken and feisty personality, never hesitating to speak her mind. Her vibrant presence will be deeply missed.
After graduating from Watkinsville High School, Patricia embarked on a career in the automobile manufacturing industry, becoming a dedicated laborer at General Motors. She proudly served the company for 32 years before retiring in 2012. Her hard-working nature led her to various locations throughout her career, including Mansfield, Ohio, Lansing, Michigan, Parma, Ohio, and Kansas City, Kansas.
Patricia’s true passion resided within her family. She was the devoted mother of four children: Derrick Lamar Brown, Stephan D. Lamont Brown, Jonathan Anthony Lee Moore, and April Patrice Monice Moore. Her legacy lives on through her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Outside of her work and family life, Patricia had a zest for fun and indulged in various activities. She enjoyed gathering with loved ones to play card games, particularly Spades, Bid Wisk, and Tonk. Patricia also took pride in her well-manicured nails and found delight in shopping and cooking delicious meals for others. Her specialty was her famous dressing and macaroni and cheese, tantalizing the taste buds of all who had the pleasure of trying her creations.
As the holiday season approached, Patricia’s joy knew no bounds. She reveled in the spirit of Christmas, finding immense joy in buying thoughtful gifts for everyone. Her infectious laughter and warm presence made every celebration extraordinary, leaving lasting memories for all who were fortunate enough to share in her company.
Patricia’s love for Cadillacs became an emblem of her vibrant character, and she delighted in owning and driving various models throughout her lifetime. They were a testament to her hard work and accomplishments, reflecting her indomitable spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ola Mae Davidson and Robert Cecil Brown (who passed just 2 days prior to Patricia).
Left to cherish her memory, children, Derrick Lamar Brown, Stephan D. Lamont Brown, Jonathan Anthony Lee Moore, and April Patrice Monice Moore; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; her brother, Johnny Ross Brown, and her nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
