Paul Heard

Paul Heard, 77. Sunrise April 23, 1935 and Sunset March 27, 2013.

Paul is a graduate of Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1953 and U. S. Air Force in 1963 and was Honorably discharged from both, traveling the world before the age of 21. Paul was a man with many talents. He was an artist and became a published author in 2012 with his book entitled “Street Persons- Who are They?” Paul worked at the U.S. Postal Service, was a Computer Technician and retired from Clark Grave Vault working many years as a Security Officer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Speaks and Gwendolyn Ramsey and his stepdaughter Pam Johnson who also passed on March 27th in 2001.

Left to cherish his memory, daughter Kim Heard “Kameela Bashir”, stepson Jeffrey Johnson and grandchildren Victor, Zakee, Jamilah and Aneeka, Goddaughter Alleah Alazhar and a host of other relatives and friends.
