Peggy J. Dave

Peggy was born to Walter V. and Dorothy Johnson on April 8, 1938. She went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2012. Peggy was raised in Columbus, Ohio. She attended Evrette Jr. High School and graduated from Central High School. She was a retiree from the State of Ohio Department of Motor Vehicles after 30 years of service.

Peggy was a true lover of Jazz Music and in her spare time she loved to read and cook. She was a good mother, grandmother, friend, sister and a devout catholic, a member of St. Domonic Church.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Patty, Pearline and Clayton Johnson and granddaughter Stephany Cardwell.

She leaves behind to fulfill the purposes of her Lord, her five children, Tony R. Cardwell, Robert R. Cardwell, Lester V. Cardwell, Thomasa “Peaches” Cardwell and Dorethea “Cookie” Cardwell (Dudley), brothers Albert (Melissa) Johnson, Walter V. (Barbara) Johnson, Ronald M. Johnson, and well loved sister Priscilla (Lonnie Sr.) Broomfield. Peggy leaves her love and memories behind to 29 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and many friends including her best friends Ms. Patricia Patterson and Mrs. Ann Toler.
