Phillip A. Jones

Phillip Antwan Jones was born February 10th, 1979, In Columbus, Ohio to the late Janice Jones and James Howze. He Departed this life on October 20th, 2023, very unexpectedly at the age of 44 and left many hearts broken and devastated.

Phillip loved to make everyone very happy and enjoyed being the literal life of the party. As soon as he walked in a room, he would light the entire room up with smiles and joy. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends and loved making new memories with them. He was known to always be there for everyone and could and would fix anything you asked him to fix without no struggles or hesitation. He was known as “Mr. Make It Happen.” Phillip was such an amazing and talented mechanic who got joy from fixing everyone’s cars. He could fix things on your car that most people would have struggled to fix, but Phil was so gifted and filled with so much ambition that he would always know how to precisely get to the root of your cars problem expeditiously. Phillip loved to take risk and do the impossible just to prove that he could.

Aside from that, Phillip had a deep infatuation towards his love for sweets. He would always show up to your house unexpectedly and literally eat your whole snack cabinet like it was nothing and then would wash it all down with some milk. He was such a loving, happy soul, with the most unforgettable, contagious laugh. He always knew exactly when to show up when those closest to him needed him the most. Phillip was such a giving person he’d always go above and beyond to help anyone. He would give the shirt off his back just to see the next person happy. Everyone who had the honor and privilege to know Phillip knew he had a deep love, yearning and affection for his children, family, and close friends.

Phillip leaves to cherish his memory his son, Phillip Jones; His daughters, Kisura Carey, Kayla Carey, Krystal Carey, Shanaya Robertson; his sister, Latisha (Alex) Jones Crawford; his brothers, Earl Jones, Michael Jones, Virgil Jones, Arthur Hickman; his nieces, Alexuis Jones, Carla Jones, Davianna Jones Hairston, Mikeyah Jones; his nephews, Lil Al, Ni’Jacion, Lamont Jones, Shawn, Aaron Walker, Aaron Williams, Lil Virgil, Michael Houston, Miles Redd Jones, Ali Redd Jones, McKinnlie Hickman, Diamanté Hickman; his grandchildren, Ky’Shira Franklin, JiiKayla Jenkins, Jii’Air Jenkins, Kattaleya Jones, Jamaal Battle, Ja’Kobe Battle, Jordyn Battle, and a host of additional bonus family members and close friends.
