Phyllis G. Edwards

Phyllis Geraldine Edwards was born August 31, 1946, the second child of Gerald and Erma Jean Rice in Columbus, Ohio. She was a graduate of Columbus Central High School, The Ohio State University and The Ohio Diocese School of Biblical
Theology.

Phyllis was a Faithful Member, Intercessor and Evangelist of New Generation Church, Maurice L. Jackson is the pastor. Phyllis was truly dedicated to God, her husband, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Phyllis entered into the Gates of Heaven on Friday, April 25, 2014. She is preceded in death by parents Gerald & Erma Jean Rice, grandparents Joe Pete and Cecie Wooden and William and Amelia Clark.

Phyllis leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving and devoted husband Oliver N. Edwards, loving children Terri Lynn Rice, Darren (Mari) and Anthony Young; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sisters Eileen (Samuel) Cudgel, Janice (Jerry) Givens, and Kim Rice; brothers Gregory (Leslie), Gene (Norice) and Darryl Rice; aunts Dana Jones, Margaret Toney, Gloria White and Christine Woods; uncle Loskar Marbury; stepchildren Oliver and Olivia Edwards; sister in law Diane Edwards, brother in law Harry Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
