Ra’Dience D. Brown was born on August 13, 1991, in Columbus, Ohio to Maria Hudson and Myron Brown. Ra’Dience was called home by our Lord and Savior on August 26, 2024.
Ra’Dience was affectionately known as, Ra’! Ra’, attended Fort Hayes High School in Columbus, Ohio when Ra’ became a proud mother at a young age. She knew it was time to set an example for her children. Since Ra’ never gave up, she received her high school diploma from Academic Acceleration Academy.
Ra’ was gifted and at a young age and she developed a love for reading. She went from reading “Babysitters Club” and scary stories, to reading books by Zane, and Sister Souljah, to name a few. Because of this love for books, she took her interest to another level. Ra’Dience channeled her love for literature and started journaling, writing poems, and even short stories. On October 24, 2023, her first book titled “Guilty Pleasures” was published. This book can be found on Kindle. Not only was Ra’Dience a writer, but she was also very creative and crafty. She could draw, do her own nails and even created beautiful handmade jewelry and custom waist beads.
Ra’Dience was presented with her wings in Heaven by maternal grandmother, Clara Garrison Hudson; paternal grandfather, Myron Scott; bonus dad, Richard McDonald; and a host of other family who preceded her in death.
Our vivacious Ra’Dience leaves behind five beautiful children to cherish all her memories! sons, RayMar Fields, Jordan Smith, and Ayden Brown; and daughters, Arianna and Scarlett Smith; mother, Maria (Andre Blakey) Hudson; father, Myron Brown; sister, TaVon Brown; brothers, Marques, and Dominic (Alexa) McDonald; paternal grandmother, Lillian Brown; uncles, Glen, Michael (Pamela), Martin (Anita) Hudson, and Anthony Scott; aunts, Della (Lyn) Barrow, Cynthia Hudson, Clarice, and Trina Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many more relatives.
We can only imagine how it felt to be called home. And crowned by our Lord and Savior and being presented with her wings, by some amazing and familiar angels. But Ra’Dience knows firsthand now, and what an amazing celebration that had to be. Can you take a moment and imagine the smile she must have had? She always had a smile that can turn your dark days into a bright sunny day. Ra’Diance will always be a "Ray of Sunshine", to all who knew and loved her. Ra’Dience you are missed by many.
