Ra’Keeim Jermaine Hood, age 22. Sunrise October 16, 1998 and Sunset January 15, 2021.

Ra’keeim “Roc” Hood was born October 16, 1998 in Ashland, Ohio, but was raised in Mansfield, Ohio. Roc, as he was affectionately called, enjoyed playing chess, basketball, football, billiards, and he enjoyed cooking. Roc was extremely loving and caring and had a smile that lit up a room. Roc loved giving everything he had to others when he didn’t have much to give. Giving love and support meant more to him than anything else. Roc also had accepted Christ as his personal savior. Roc is survived by his parents, Joshua Jermaine Hood and Melissa Marie Hood; four siblings, Fantasia Marie Hood, Elijah Zareus Hood, Darrien Joshua Hood, and Trever Allen King; paternal grandfather, Bernard (Deborah) Hood of Columbus, Ohio; paternal grandmother, Sharon (Dr. Larry) Rawls; maternal grandmother, Karen King; uncle Jason King; aunt, Tracina Hood; and a host of loved ones who will miss him dearly.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 275 Grace St.. Mansfield, Ohio. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave., Columbus.
