Reginald Cecil Handon

On March 1, 2024, Reginald Cecil Handon transitioned into the Lord’s Kingdom in Columbus, Ohio. Reggie was born on November 1, 1964. He was 59 years of age.

Reggie was raised in Ohio by parents, Mary A. Handon and Warren W. Handon Sr. He was a hardworking man who loved to cook and was most recently employed as a cook at My Project U.S.A. He also had a passion for painting and worked as a painter for many years, painting many homes in and around the Columbus area and other states. He was a fashionable man who also loved to sing, travel, take pictures and play the drums and keyboard, which he played every Sunday at the Temple of Compassion church. Reggie was always willing to provide a helpful hand and wanted the best for his children and family. He was also funny and outgoing and remained positive even while battling his sickness.

Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, Mary A. Handon and Warren W. Handon.

He is survived by his sisters, Anastasia Handon, Alisha L. Handon; brother, Warren W. Handon Jr.; his children, Jaymell Green, Jerone Green, Shandel Handon, Reggie Handon Jr., Jozalynn Green, Racquel Handon, Raphael Handon, Sebastian Handon; stepson, Marquan Nichols; 13 grandchildren and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2024, at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
