Reta Ann Scott

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all of them also that love his appearing.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      ~II Timothy 4:7-8

As stated in Proverbs 31, the heart of her husband had complete trust in her and he lacked nothing. She rewarded him with good and not evil all the days of his life.  She was the “apple of his eyes,” and he was the “sunshine of her life.” this union produced three children. Christina, Charles, and Douglas.

Her sheer will to live, strength of character and resilience are testament to her unwavering faith and trust in God.   She expressed her thanksgiving and praise for God’s goodness. She calmly navigated the charted course of her roles with grace, poise, wisdom, dignity, and strength.

“Her children rise up to call her blessed,” Proverbs 31:28

An excellent cook and homemaker, she created a home of comfort, order, beauty, and elegance.  Rita, she raised her children with love, dignity, respect and continued to lead them to God.
