Very private, beautiful heart, would surprise his family occasionally with visits.  He was a momma’s boy.  He loved his mom. He had many friends.  youngest of his mothers 6 children.  He loved to fish.  He loved his job, driver for Elite Transportation.  very head strong, stood on what he believed in.  graduate of Malibar High School.  Preceded in death by his parents Louise Parker Anderson and Roscoe Rice and sister Juanita Ross.  Loved watching football, especially The Denver Broncos.  He loved listening to music.

Ricky Anderson, a beloved and cherished member of the Mansfield community, passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 58. Born on November 9, 1964, Ricky was the youngest child of Louise Parker Anderson and Roscoe Rice. He was a man of great character, whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

Ricky grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, where he attended Malabar High School and graduated with a diploma that marked the beginning of his journey. He found fulfillment and purpose in his career as a dedicated transporter for Elite Transportation, where he was trusted with transporting patients to their medical appointments with precision and reliability. Ricky’s sincere dedication and love for his job were evident to all who worked alongside him.

Beyond his career, Ricky was a man who cherished his family above all else. He had a special bond with his beloved mother, Louise, and always carried a deep appreciation for her presence in his life. Ricky was a proud father to his son Jamar Lindsay and his daughters Sentaria (Tony) Williams and Ashanti Hudgens. He showered them with love, support, and guidance, ensuring that they would carry his legacy of kindness and compassion into the future. Ricky will be missed by his companion of 12 years, Regina Bigger. Ricky was also a cherished brother to his sisters Carol Peggy (Willie) Bronson, Gloria (Iradell) Johnson, Fatina Rice, Debra (Nole) Caffey, and Kathryn Rice, and his brothers W C (Julia) White, Larry (Lucille) Anderson, Charles (Anna) Anderson, and Portis (Nakesha) Rice; 10 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His loving presence and joyous spirit will be deeply missed by his entire family.

Ricky was a man who found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He treasured his downtime and would often surprise his family with impromptu visits, creating priceless memories that will be cherished forever. He had an unwavering passion for fishing, finding peace and tranquility in the company of nature. Ricky’s love for football was evident, and his unwavering support for the Denver Broncos was unrivaled. In his moments of solitude, he found solace in the melodies of his favorite music, which uplifted his soul and formed the soundtrack of his life.

Ricky Anderson’s legacy will forever endure in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His unwavering faith, his kind and gentle spirit, and his steadfast commitment to his family and friends will be remembered and celebrated with reverence. While we mourn his loss, let us remember Ricky’s vibrant spirit and the love he bestowed upon us all.
