Robert Lee Womack Sr.

Robert Lee Womack, Sr. was born October 17, 1926 in Greenville, Alabama to the late Luci and Lease Womack. He departed this life on March 26, 2015 at the age of 88 years young at Grand Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Robert lived in Columbus, Ohio for 3 years with his only daughter Marilyn. He recently moved from Philadelphia, PA being taken care of by his oldest son Robert Jr.

Robert attended National Church Residences Center for Senior Health on E. Livingston Ave For Adult Daycare during the day. He went there to enjoy senior activities and spend time with other of his age. Robert enjoyed activities such as car riding, coloring, singing, dancing and watching movies.

He leaves to cherish his sweet memories, three sons: Robert Jr., Joseph and Frank and his only daughter Marilyn of Mobile, Alabama; his two nieces, sister Ginny, two great nephews Usi and A’ron, grandchildren, Robert Jr., Malikah Rahman, Shakirah; (Joseph) Aisha, (Marilyn) Terrel, Hakish, Tracy, Bayon, Mekol, (Frank) Quran, Cherel, Kyle, Denajah, Lanajah, and Kayla with a host of great grandchildren. He’s preceeded in death by both parents, two sister, two brothers, his daughter in law Rebecca Womack and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation 4:00pm and Funeral 5:00pm  Sunday April 5, 2015 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
