Robin L. Clodfelter

Robin L. Clodfelter passed on to Glory July 29, 2019 at 4:30am at The Ohio State University Medical Center 7th Floor Rhoads Hall Rm 722, surrounded by family.

Robin was born in Vinton County, Ohio on May 28, 1936 to Paul and Mudella Bass. In 1939 she and her family moved to Columbus, Ohio shortly after settling in Robin joined Love Zion Baptist Church and she became a very devoted member of the choir.

On August 1, 1953 Robin L. Bass married Clarence L. Clodfelter, they were joined together in Holy Matrimony by the Late Pastor McMyers. Robin had various jobs throughout her life she worked several years as a nursing assistant, one of those places was at First Community Village where she met a friend who told her of a position at Riverside Methodist Hospital where she became employed; and twenty years later she retired.

Robin was a devoted Christian and in 1960 she became a member of The Greater 12th Avenue Baptist Church where she has been a member in good standing ever since. She became a Deaconess, A Sunday School Teacher, President of The Senior Choir for over a decade. She loved helping people which she often did.

Robin is preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Mudella Bass; husband of 55 years, Clarence Clodfelter; and brother, Pearl E. Bass.

Robin is survived by her four children, Linda (Troy) Dupree, Robert (Angelica) Clodfelter, Nathaniel Clodfelter, and Von (Cynthia) Clodfelter; twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

During her illness there was much help provided by the Sheppard Family, The Caldwell Family, the Dupree Family and the Clodfelter Brothers. Thank all of you for being there for our mother and our family.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2019 at Greater 12th Baptist Church, 1561 Cleophus Kee Blvd,.

Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
