RONALD ALLEN MARTIN WAS BORN IN AKRON, OHIO TO THE LATE ROBERT AND MARY
MARTIN, SR. ON DECEMBER 25, 1958.HE WAS THE YOUNGEST OF FIVE CHILDREN.
AS A YOUNG BOY, HE WAS REARED BY HIS GRANDMOTHER AND BAPTIZED BY REV. I.T.
BRADLEY AT THE AGE OF SIX. HE MOVED TO COLUMBUS, OHIO IN 1987. UNTIL HIS
ILLNESS, RON WAS A COMMITTED WORKER AT THE COLUMBUS STEEL DRUM, WHERE HE MET
MANY FRIENDS. HE WAS BEST KNOWN FOR HIS SMILE AND HUMOR. ONE OF HIS
GREATEST JOYS WAS TO ATTEND SUNDAY SERVICE AT EITHER TRIEDSTONE OR MEREDITH
TEMPLE WITH FIANCE NITA AND BABY GIRL RONITA. HE WILL BE MISSED BY HIS FOUR
CHILDREN, WHOM HE LOVED DEEPLY.
THOSE LEFT TO CHERISH HIS LOVING SPIRIT INCLUDE CHILDREN MYRETTA, KENDRA,
AND O'NEIL MARTIN ALL OF AKRON, OHIO AND RONITA OF COLUMBUS, AND
STEP-DUGHTER RASHEEDA OF COLUMBUS, FIANCE EULALIA BAKER OF COLUMBUS; SISTERS
HANIFAH (AKO) KAMBON OF COLUMBUS, JOANNE MARTIN OF AKRON; SUZETTE LEWIS OF
STRONGSVILLE,OHIO; SPECIAL BUDDY ALBERTA PYFROM OF COLUMBUS AND A HOST OF
RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
