Ronald E. Dickerson

Ronald Eugene Dickerson was born December 26, 1952. He was the youngest of four boys.

He graduated from Central High school. He enlisted to the military as a coreman in the US Navy. At an early age, Ronald confessed his faith in Christ Jesus and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Ronald worked for the city for 17 years.

After a long suffering illness of 3 years he was finished with his race, Ronald was called home Sunday morning March 17, 2019.

Ronald is preceded in death by his father Joseph Saul Dickerson; mother Cora Lee Dickerson, then his brothers; James Dickerson, Shepherd Gossett and Lucious Gossett.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Maulangi (Celeste) and Toneshia Dickerson and Whitney Williams; his sons Tamar (Shameka), Jarees (Felicia), and Micha (Ericka) Dickerson, Fiancee Debra Williams; his Grandchildren: Jawan, Maleaka, Christopher, Makaia, Malaysia Dickerson, Miyleenah Pruitt, MiYanah, Marianna, and Mahogany Hale. Eliajah, Jermiah, Isaiah, Moriah, Myajah, Zariah, Lanayah, Michayla, Davon, Micha Jr., Danayah, Sir Zavier, Tamar Dickerson., Londyn Rivers. Greatgrandchildren; Christopher Jr., Nevaeh, Faye, Deion JR., Lamon, Lainey, MiYangel, Dorrien Jr., Milani, Deaundre Jr., longtime friend Samuel L. Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. To be absent from the body is to be present with Christ.

Visitation 12:00pm and Funeral 1:00pm Friday, March 29, 2019 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
