Ronald V. Luckett

Ronald Vernon Luckett, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 64. He was born on January 6, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, to James M. Luckett and Genevieve (White) Luckett. Ronald peacefully passed away in his home in Columbus, Ohio. His departure from this world came naturally, leaving behind memories that will forever be cherished.

Ronald’s determination and strong work ethic led him to a successful career as an Automotive Detailer. For thirty years, he dedicated himself to Byers Chevrolet Dealership, where he took great pride in his work. Subsequently, he served as the Detail Manager at Jeff Wyler Auto Mall for two years, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with.

Ronald was a man of simple pleasures. He had a deep love for music, finding solace and joy in its melodies. His unwavering support for the Ohio State Football team demonstrated his passion for sports and camaraderie. Nevertheless, Ronald’s greatest source of happiness came from his family. He adored his children and treasured every moment spent with them.

Ronald is predeceased by his parents, James M. and Genevieve (White) Luckett; and brothers, James Luckett, Gene Luckett, and Arthur Luckett

Ronald is survived by his beloved children, Teshawna Radford of Rancho Cucamonga, California; Ronald King of East Chicago, Indiana, Aisha Hinkle of Phoenix, Arizona, Isaiah, James, Jaylon, Jason, and Layla Luckett, all of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Carletta Alfred of Columbus, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ronald Vernon Luckett will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege to know him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memories bring comfort to those left behind.
