Ronetta Jean Harris

Ronetta Harris (Rocki) was born June 21,1966 in Cleveland Ohio to the late Ronald Smith and Cheryl Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry Harris, sisters Venice Smith and Stacey Smith, and brother Anthony Smith.

Rocki accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Cleveland Public Schools. After her education she started a career in the healthcare field as a caregiver. Later she worked for Yellow Cab as a dispatcher where she was later promoted to manager.

In 1995, Rocki met Harry and fell in love. They were married on April 21st, 2002. Together they raised 2 children, Demario Pollard, and Lora Harris.

In 2006, Rocki relocated with her family to Columbus Ohio to start a new life as a fulltime home maker. She always made sure that her husband, kids and grandkids were taken care of. Ronetta loved family gatherings where she cooked great meals, hung out with family & friends and loved going to the casinos.

God Called Rocki home on Sunday November 12th,2023 in Columbus, Ohio. She leaves to cherish her memory son, Demario Pollard; daughter, Lora Harris; Grandchildren, Gianna Pollard, Myanah Beck Julany Beck, and Laeana Strider. Siblings, Kathy Berry, Deauna Bratton sister, cousin and best friends Pam Melissa, Tracy and Rita and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, November 30, 2023, at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
