Rosalea was born in Gallagher, West Virginia, to the late Clearance Thompson and Velmer Clay. After leaving Gallagher, she worked as a nurse’s aid and began to raise her children in Columbus, Ohio.
Rosalea was a loving mother and cared deeply for all her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her whole family. Rosalea loved to watch TBN gospel channel, other Christian TV ministries, writing poetry, playing bingo and knitting many and many blankets.
Rosalea was known to bestow wisdom to all who would listen. She loved the Lord.
Rosalea is preceded by her son; William Wallace, daughter; Kathy Angel (Carlton Angel), sisters; Geneva Smith (Douglas Smith), Elsie McClendon (Henry McClendon), and brother; Frank Sled-Thompson (Deborah Sled).
Rosalea leaves behind daughters; Marie Jones, Louise Shumate (Mike Shumate), sons; Willie Wallace (Michelle Wallace), Darrell Wallace (Lisa Bah), grandchildren; Shantina Chavis (Dion Chavis), Gary Thompson, Brian Angel (Brenna), Prince Jones, Shawn Jones, Carl Brown III, Markia Jones, Keisha Jones, Mike Shumate, Cory Shumate, Chris Shumate, Candic Shumate, Crystal Green, Brian Wallace, Will Wallace, Terrance Wallace, Andre Stevens, Isaiah Wallace, Eliajh Wallace and Darnell Cardwell, nieces; Carolyn Williams, Michelle Hetzel, nephews; Michael (Deborah Hetzel), and Miguel Hetzel, special Family; Carla Anderson, and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
