Roxann Gilbert

Roxann Gilbert was born September 28, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan. A city she took great pride in, her birth was welcomed lovingly by her mother Dorothy White and Father Jimmy Finley, and big brother Jeffery Finley whom preceded her in death.

Roxann later moved to Chicago, Illinois with her family. There she met and married Richard Gilbert. Through God’s blessings they had four children.

Roxann’s journey then would take her to Columbus, Ohio where she would live for the remaining 25 years of her life.

Roxann was called home on July 28, 2019. She leaves to cherish her memory; children Terese, Sherese, Eric, and Kenneth Gilbert, grandchildren Kenu’Juan, and Kendazeyon Holmes, Johnathan Hairston, and Kameron and Kenneth Gilbert Jr., mother Dorothy White, father Jimmy Finley, brother Tracy White,sisters Christine F inley, Ernestine, and Randy Sanetra, adopted children Edmund Cox, and Francine Davis, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
