Roy Hogan Sr.

Roy Hogan Sr., age 68. Sunrise June 17, 1948 and Sunset March 7, 2017.

Roy attended Central High School and was a Veteran of The U.S. Navy. He worked at Grant Hospital and Columbus State Hospital and retired from Jeffreys Forman Club/ Dresser Industries. He was a Deacon at Greater Grace Temple.

Roy is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gayle E. Hogan; mother, Bessie M. Jenkins; son, Roy Hogan Jr., daughter, Malinda G.(Robert Willoughby) McCarey; brothers, Wilford Jenkins Jr., and Mark Anthony (Barbara) Jenkins; sisters, Libby J. Jenkins, Gloria A. (Carl) Patterson and Darlene Jenkins; grandchildren, Terrance G. McCarey, Brittney G. McCarey, and Roy Hogan III; great grandchildren, Isaiah K. George and My’Liyah J. Hugley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (1 block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.) Interment with Military Honors at Dayton National Cemetery.
