Sandra P McCruter

Sandra Perry McCruter (affectionately known as Sandra P. McCruter) was born on Tuesday, January 15, 1946, in Mansfield, to the late Thomas Howard Lindsay and Thelma Loretta Lindsay. 

 She attended Mansfield Senior High School, was part of the pep-rally team cheering for her future husband and was in the 1st graduating class of Malabar High School in 1964. 

Although she worked at many institutions, she spent most of her professional career and retired from General Motors. Sandra enjoyed bowling, roller skating, fishing, shopping, traveling, knitting, and most importantly spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Sandra is survived by her husband, Robert L. McCruter Jr. of over 60 years; her siblings, Howard Lindsay & his wife Margaret Jo Lindsay, Wayne Lindsay and his wife Kim Lindsay; her children, Craig “Wes” M. McCruter, David C. McCruter and wife Megnot Hailu-McCruter, Warren “Eugene” McCruter, and Rondrea L. McCruter; her grandchildren, Chenita Brooks (Cordell), Peyton McCruter, David C. McCruter II (Stephanie), India J. McCruter, Tyson N. McCruter, Braden McCruter, Warren “Lil’ G.” McCruter, Abel Hailu-Mugrage and Melak Hailu-Mugrage; great-grandchildren, Dailiqon, Nevaeh, Malia, Kaylonni, Iris and Meadow, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Jean Lindsay; and her sister-in-law, Katie Lindsay; caregiver, Roy Shoulders and his wife, Kristie Shoulders.
