Sandra Turner

Sandra Lee Turner, aged 61, passed away on August 28, 2024, due to natural causes in Columbus, Ohio, where she was born on November 24, 1962. Sandra was known for her kind and compassionate nature, often reflected through her beautiful garden and delicious cooking. She was a loving and caring individual, genuinely dedicated to her family and friends. She took care of her mother and taught her kids what it looked like to honor your parents. 

Sandra pursued a career that combined her passions: interior design, painting, and entrepreneurship. Her creative spirit was not only evident in her professional life but also shone through her fashion forward style. She was glamorous and fabulous. She enjoyed watching reality TV, which was one of her favorite ways to unwind.

 She is survived by her children, Michelle Turner, Samuel Turner, and Destiny Turner, Lania Carter; siblings, Sally Turner, James Turner, Thomas Turner, Georgia Minniefield, Wanda Wright and Ara Phillips; and her nephew/son, Ziontaye Conner; granddaughter, Ivry Carter and grandson, De'Lantae Carter; great aunts, Laura (Samuel) Morton, Rose Curry, Norma Benvenutti; cousin, Ann Benvenutti; best friends, Mary Bickham and Dezera Banner along with a host of nieces and nephews. 

 Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Lawry and Mable Turner; great grandparents, Toney and Marie Jackson; daughter, April Turner; siblings, Barbara Hunt, Doris Powell, Clarence Minniefield, William Turner, Sam Turner; nieces and nephew, Kenneth Turner, Barbara Jean Germany, Larhonda Turner, Tashai Taylor, and Tee/Ara Turner; best friends, Hugh Harris and Raymond Reese; uncles, Toney Jackson, Don Jackson, Junior Curry, and James Turner; aunts, Mae Madison and Thelma Turner.
