Sarita M Garrett-Brown born July 6, 1957, departed this earthly life March 8, 2019 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

She is predeceased by husband Douglas Brown. Grandparents Beatrice Weaver, Lewis Wright, William Garrett, William and Eugenia Jackson. Father Forest Garrett. Sister Tina Garrett. Brother Farrard Coleman and grandson Montae Garrett.

Leaving to mourn, mother Jeannette W. Garrett, children Aburine and Anya Garrett, stepchildren Tianna and Thomas Mundell, Aja, Katherine and Gordan Brown. Brothers Forest Garrett Jr and Mark Garrett (California, LA). Two sisters Melany and Didne Garrett. Grandchildren Aburine, Abreaunna, Deiontay (Sir), Aven, Donnell (Mister), great granddaughter Averi Garrett; 17 special grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Host of many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins. Special Friends Donna Nash and Michael Goolsby. Lastly special daughter in law Donyell Croom (Poohbear).

Sarita was born in Columbus, Ohio where she attended Linden McKinley High School and worked for Starting Point Daycare. She loved music, fishing, swimming, and spending time with family. Sarita better known as “WeeWee” will greatly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her or even just crossing her path. Many would say she had a fun, giving, loving and courageous spirit. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Even in her last days she wanted to take care of her loved ones. WeeWee will live in our hearts forever and will truly be missed.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing…….2 Timothy 4:7-8
