Shane A. Thompkins

Shane Apollo Thompkins left us peacefully the morning of Wednesday, November 1, 2023. His fiancé, Xenia Dooley was by his side. He went through many trials and tribulations with his health but fought a courageous battle. He was born on December 18, 1972, in Columbus, Ohio.

He was passionate about The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Buffalo Bills. He enjoyed watching football, listening to music, singing, cooking and most of all, use that great sense of humor to make family and friends laugh.

He was preceded in death by mother, Ira Shilling; and step-father Kenneth Shilling. Left to cherish his memories are his fiancé, Xenia Dooley; his son, Jaquon; daughters, Zaria, Raniyah, Shakaira; grandson, Korey; sisters, Mitzi (Calvin) King and Kendra Shilling; nieces, Britney and Katira; great nieces and nephews, Dilynn, Howie, Skyla, Angelo, Reniya and Enzo.

Special friends: Dana Johnson, Shad Kimble, Shawn Callaway and Elisa Bouza.

Shane will be truly missed by his family and friends. We all thank God for the years that we were blessed to have him.
