Sheila E. Jenkins

Sheila Ellen Jenkins, age 60, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 26, 2021. She was born June 9, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Richard and Else Jenkins.

Sheila is survived by her loving fiancé, Herbert Daughtry; siblings, Shirley Ann of Nevada, Riccarda (Berry) of Tennessee, Janet (Tommie) the oldest set of twins, Cynthia (Sylvia’s twin), Richard (Paula) (Regina’s twin), Lori (Walter) of Michigan, James (Melissa), Karl (Tawanda), and Nicole (Hannah); her dearest glame daughter, who she spent all her time with, Maja Jenkins; special niece and her hair stylists Aleicia Black; ex-daughter-in-law, Haniyyah Iliasu; in addition to a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins along with other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her one and only son, Matthew Alexander Edward Jenkins; Sisters, Sylvia Denise Brown and Regina Marie Jenkins.

Sheila was a social butterfly with a contagious smile. She always could bring laughter to a gathering and she would made up nicknames like Punkin Unkin, Bink Winker, Stranker Wanker and Pimp Juice.

She was so grateful, carefree, and loving to everyone, once she got to know you. Sheila adored taking the time to get ready, by dressing up in style and doing her makeup and nails. Sheila was a talented cake decorator and worked in the bakery at Kroger for 26 year. She was a bright presence in people’s lives and will always be remembered and be missed deeply.

PRIVATE Visitation 9:00 AM Funeral 10:00 AM Monday, February 8, 2021 at Chapel of Peace – East, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
