Shirlee Ann Scott

It is with profound sadness that the family of Shirlee Judge Scott announce her peaceful passing on Friday July 25, 2021, at the age of 85 years. Shirlee was born November 24, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio to Melvin and Evelyn Judge.

Shirlee was a caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who spent her last moments surrounded by her family. We are forever grateful for her life, light, and love.

Shirlee professed Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Christ Memorial Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. L.H. Johnson. On August 28, 1957, she married Henry James Scott and carried the mantle of First Lady beginning in 1971 where she served alongside her husband at Shiloh Baptist Church for 3 years and Mt. Galilee Missionary Baptist Church for 28 years.

Shirlee is preceded in death by her husband, Pastor H.J. Scott, D.Min, father Melvin Judge, mother Evelyn Cason Office, and 8 siblings: Donald, Ray, Victor, Larry, Vesta, Carmelia, Janice, Johnny, and stepdaughter LaDreena (Angie) Scott.

Shirlee leaves waiting for that blessed reunion, sons Ron (Yolanda) Scott, Larcellus Angelo (Marisela) Scott, Shannon J. (Ann/Z) Scott, daughter Yolonda (Ron) Greggs, 4 siblings: Michael (Janice) Powell, Gloria Powell, Kim Powell, Toni (David) Andrews, and stepchildren Vincent Michael (Alphanese) Scott, Henry (Sharon) Scott, Jr., and Letheria Harrison.
