Shirley Ann Simington

God made his journey to his garden to pluck another one of his precious flowers to reign with him for evermore.

Shirley Ann Simington was born May 22, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. On January 13, 2018 Shirley joined hands with God to journey with him forever.

She is a lover of music, she loved to cook, socialize with her friends and have family gatherings.

Shirley is preceded in death by mother Floree Mackey, sister Madelaine Mackey, Carolyn Mackey, and godmother Mother Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memory with children Shawn, Aleta, LaToya, Tyran, and Carlos Simington, sisters Floretta Long, Gwen Mackey, Sheila Mitchell, brother Thomas Mackey, special friends Darlene Devonshire, Dianna Moore, Betty and Carlos Hughes, 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation 11:00am Funeral 12noon Saturday January 20, 2018 at Marlan Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace, East location 5456 Livingston Ave. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
