Tahlea Michelle Claytor graced the world with her presence on September 8, 1975, a beautiful, sweet, brown baby girl. She took her rest on March 8, 2022, surrounded by her closest loved ones. Born to Ms. Toya Cobb, Tahlea was educated in Columbus Public Schools. A proud graduate of East High School and Fort Hayes Career Center, she graduated at the top of her class, a state tested nursing assistant. A natural and compassionate caregiver, she served in this role for 12 years.
Tahlea received Christ at an early age and was a baptized and faithful member of Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies. She loved church and participated in altar-call faithfully.
A true socialite, Tahlea loved and appreciated spending time with family and friends. A well-known worshipper with a big heart, knack for dominoes and a love of scratch-offs she never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
A die-hard fan of The Ohio State University, she loved supporting the scarlet and gray especially against Michigan, the favorite team of her Pops Randy. A house divided; the rivalry is one they both cherished while vigorously cheering for their beloved teams. Strong willed and self-reliant, Tahlea maintained her household independently for the last 17 years after battling multiple health challenges.
Tahlea is preceded in death by her father, Earl Eugene Wiggins; pops, Roosevelt “Pops” Cobb; brother, Frank Coleman Claytor Ingram; loving grandparents, Eddie and Bettye Jo Mayo, and Mary Coulverson.
Tahlea leaves to cherish her memory, devoted mother, Ms. Toya Cobb; special family memberts, Ronald E. (Toby Coleman) Harris, Jr., Dietra Powell, Joseph Powell, Mona Milner, and Shavon Wiggins; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
