Tauron “Bop” Durham

Tauron “Bop“ Durham was born August 17th, 2010 in Columbus, OH, to Wendy Tucker and John Durham. Tauron was affectionately known as Bop to his family and loved ones.

Tauron was a 7th grader at Horizon Science Academy. He was very intelligent and always had big dreams. Tauron loved to dance; That’s where he got the name Bop, because he was always bopping around as a young child. Tauron loved to play basketball. He would always be in the house or outside, bouncing the ball around. His favorite meal was a number 5 from McDonalds with a large Dr. Pepper on the side. One thing about it, he was going to eat a lot! Tauron was a son, a brother and uncle to many. He was very family orientated and always made sure to spread his love around to everyone as much as he could.

On December 2, 2023, at the age of 13, Tauron was called to be home with our Lord. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bernita J. Durham; grandfathers, John S. Durham, and Louis E. Thompson Jr.

Those left to cherish Tauron’s memory is his parents, Wendy Tucker and John Durham; grandmother, Sylvia Johnson (Roy Barnes); uncle, Antonio Tucker; aunt, Andretta Tucker; sisters, Myshaquala, Tylaesha, Dalona, Daylanae and D’airah; brothers, Terrance, Trevon, and Eric Jr.; nieces, Ky’liyah, Na’Riyah, Ara’Bella and Khali; nephews, Antonio, Ky’waun, Mi’rell, My’waun and Bryson; close cousins, Michael Jr., Riniyah, Riliyah, Ladrell and MikeQuan; God parents, Antonio Taylor and Sherita Florida; special aunts, Shantina, Gina and Tamika; uncle, Dion; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
