Tiffany Nelson

Tiffany T.S. Nelson-Harris, affectionately known as “Tiff” was born March 26, 1976 in Scott, Mississippi to Myra J. (Nelson) Gray (Superintendent Clinton Gray, Jr.) and James Earl Harris (Olivia Harris). Upon moving to Ohio, she attended New St. Peter, Church of God in Christ, Inc. in Elyria/Lorain, Oh under the leadership of her uncle Superintendent Edward Jones, Jr., and family.

Tiff attended Elyria West High School and graduated from Sandusky High School. She was employed at Continental Message Solution.

Tiff was a loving mother to her only child, Ashley Brooke Nelson-Hatter. She was a hard worker and when she was not working, she loved spending time with her grandson Sincere “SJ”, who she adoringly referred to as “BooBoo.” She loved to dress in her all White and her high heels. She was a class act. She always made people smile and had the most infectious laugh. She loved listening to old gospel songs, especially the Mississippi Mass Choir. She loved music of all kinds and her favorite artist was Mary J. Blige! She was a very selfless person and was always pouring into others.

Tiff transitioned from her temporary earthly residence on September 3, 2020 to her permanent residence.

Tiff is preceded in death by her Maternal and Paternal grandparents, her Father James Earl Harris, Stepfather Clinton Gray, Jr. and dear aunt, Jurisdictional Supervisor Blondean Nelson-Jones.
Tiff leaves to cherish her memory, her Mother Myra J. Gray, her loving daughter, Ashley Nelson-Hatter, one grandson Sincere Johnson; Sisters, Qiana and Syreeta Harris; Step-mother Olivia Harris, Step-brothers Alvin, Al, and Clavon Gray, Step-sisters LaToya “Penny” Smith, Darlean Cummings and Allean Fuqua, Sister/Cousins Samantha, Samone, and Monalisa Harris and an abundance of extended family members and friends.
