Timothy Conley

Timothy “Timmy” Conley was born February 14, 1949 in Union Springs, Alabama to the late Betty and Robert Hamilton. He was the oldest of 7 children.

Timmy was a hardworking man, starting at the tender age of 6. He worked with his uncle picking cotton for 2 cents a day. In his teenage years he enlisted into the US Army in 1968. He was stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. Once he was discharged from the Army, he worked for Battelle Institute, Metropolitan Housing, and at Columbus College of Art and Design. Timothy then went to school for Heating and Cooling, and became a lifelong mechanic. Timmy was a jack of all trades, he could work on anything! After serving for our Country, Timmy met his lovely wife, Alice Conley. They met at a beautiful scenery, The Ohio State Fairground. They later got married August 30, 1974, and had 8 wonderful children.

Timmy, also known as Hometown, Spoon, or Sunny was a great man. He was loving, caring, kindhearted, and all around one of a kind. Tim was the type of man that cared for others more than himself. He would give you the last dollar out his pocket or even the shirt off his back. He was a sweet tender person who will truly be missed, and his soul shall forever live on.

Timothy is preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Robert Hamilton; siblings, Arneshia (Chuck) Baker and Zelda Perry; and granddaughter, Taylor Reynolds

Timothy leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Alice Conley; children, Marquietta Abrams, Kenya Conley-Turner, Timeco Conley, Kelli Conley, Jamaica Conley, Jacob Conley, Felicia Conley, and Kenyatta Conley; siblings, Reverend Terry (Sherl) Streeter, Crystal (John) Collins, Kirk Lewis, and Sidney (Yvonne) Lewis; brother in law, Tim Perry; 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; God sister, Jackie Jenkins; and many cousins, extended family, and a host of friends that loved him dearly.
