Tina Ann Mullins

Tina Ann Mullins was born November 24, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio to the late William Moore Sr. and Marilyn Wilson Moore. She departed this life peacefully early Monday morning October 26, 2020, in the presence of her loving family.

Tina received her formal education from the Columbus City School district graduating in 1981 from Whetstone High School while taking classes from Linden McKinley in her senior year. Upon graduation she attended Ohio University.

Tina married Lonnie B. Mullins and to this union the joy of her life was born, Zion Luke Mullins. Tina was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church, where she served as a former member of the DJW Pastoral Choir.

Her hobbies included hosting gatherings, traveling with friends, and yard sale shopping. Tina had a passion for volunteer work, particularly for feeding the homeless at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Women of Essence. While doing this important work, Tina said she “witnessed a modern day miracle”. With only a ten-pound turkey and limited Thanksgiving fixings, she and her friend Taimi were able to feed over fifty people with food to spare. They didn’t think they could manage it, but the food seemingly continued to multiply.

With a love for retail, Tina worked at Schottenstein as a distributor for over 26 years until the store closed. Later working for Rich’s Products Corporation until her health began to fail in 2018.

A nurturer by nature who was kind and soft spoken was considered the best friend to all who were lucky enough to know her as a companion. She was a devoted caregiver to her Mother for over ten years, until her passing in February, 2018. Tina loved her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins dearly. She never missed a Wilson Family reunion and always living life to the fullest. A diehard football fan, she was always rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Her Ohio State vs Michigan parties were something to look forward to each season, which came along with her birthday.

Tina is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, parents; William Moore Sr, and Marilyn Wilson Moore, brothers; William Moore Jr., and Thomas Moore.

Tina leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son Zion Luke; sister, Zeta (Keith) Jones; brothers, Ronald P. and Roger Moore, all of Columbus Ohio; Aunts, Mary Jo Holloman of Dayton, Ohio, Mary Wilson, of Delaware, Ohio; nieces, Dawn E.
