Tommie Weaver Sr. (aka Tom Cat. Jummy) age 57 went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2019
at St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Tommie was born July 23, 1961 to his parents Lizzie Hall and the late Monroe Weaver in Johnston, SC. Tommie is now at rest and rejoicing with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Tommie attended Hawkins Jr. High School in Hattiesburg, Ms. where he was an elite standout athlete wearing the number 88. He displayed exceptional talent on the football field, but it was cut short due to a
car accident. Tommie didn’t let that stop him from completing school at Hattiesburg High in which he
continued to be an advocate for his city. Tommie was always passionate for the word as he was quick to
provide anyone with a scripture when they needed it. He was a devoted member at Worship and Praise
Fellowship MPGT, where he expressed his passion through song and testimony.

Tommie was always willing to help anybody in need as he offered day to day labor. Tommie remain
contagious as he affected people with his touch of love and laughter. Tommie can capture a spot light
with his one of a kind dance moves or grab your undivided attention as he told stories of his amplified
life. He will always be loved and cherished as a true man of God.

Tommie is preceded in death by his father Monroe Weaver; His step-father Jack Hall; His sisters Latandra Hall and Cynthia Palmer; His grandson Deshaun (Man-Man) Weaver.

Tommie is survived and love by his mother Lizzie Hall; His former wife Barbara Weaver and their three beautiful children Shatarya (Michael) Campbell, Laterria (Jason) Berry, Tommie Weaver Jr. of Columbus, OH; His sister’s Brenda Floyd, Judy Weaver, Lakeisha Hall of Columbus, Tracy (Melvin) Vale, LaTasha Hall of Atlanta, Ga; His brothers Monroe (Anita) Weaver, Kendrin Hall of Hattiesburg, Ms. He leaves behind a host of loving grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The last days of Tommie life was met with laughter and fun, we will miss him dearly but celebrate his final VICTORY!

Visitation 2:00pm and Funeral 3:00pm Saturday, March 2, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
