Trina Lynn Alexander

Trina Lynn Alexander passed away at her home on Friday, April 26, 2024. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on October 31, 1964 to Phyllis (Jones) Tufts and James Alexander III.

Trina ALWAYS was helping others, even when she did not have it to help herself. She was an avid sports fan especially for The Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a loving person with a HUGE heart. Her love for her fur babies was unconditional, they were her world, Bella 2, Roy, Meeko, plus a few more. She took in her nieces (cousins) as her own “Sisters”, Shawntoya (TeeTee), DaVida and Vonda. Trina was very talented, left-handed and all, she taught herself to do her own hair.

In her earlier years, Trina was raised along with her Aunt Starla and they were together 40 plus years. She was a graduate of the Malabar Falcons High School, Class of 1983 and was a member of the Marching Band.

Trina leaves to cherish her loving memory her parents, Phyllis (Jones) Tufts and James “Dickie” (Gwen) Alexander III; brothers, Sylvanious L. Roane Jr. “Petey” and Khristian O. Jones “Pooter”; sisters, Chante Bishop, Jessica Alexander, Shawntoya B. Jones “TeeTee” and sister cousin Crystal Reed; special cousins, Tara, Vonda, DaVida and CorDarrel Jackson; friends, Carmen Lindsay, Sheila Reed, Candy Norris and Claudia Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edith E. Jones “Mom”, Edna & James Alexander II “Pops”; stepfather, Jesse L. Tufts; a special aunt, Dora L. Reed “Snookie”; and an uncle, Eric D. Jones “Danny”.
