Tyrone James “T-Hawk” Hawkins

Tyrone James “T~HAWK” Hawkins, age 68. Sunrise January 7, 1952 and Sunset September 14, 2020. Tyrone was born in Steubenville, Ohio to Cleida B. Dulin and William T. Hawkins Sr.

Tyrone attended Big Red High School, but later, changed his educational goal and enrolled in the Job Corps., where he earned his Diploma. After selecting a trade, he obtained his certification in welding and began his career. After working as a welder for several years, Tyrone decided on another venture and completed the requirements to become a truck driver.

Tyrone enjoyed driving trucks and did so until he retired. Tyrone didn’t stop there, to stay busy he became the guy everyone would call for odd jobs that ranged from lawn care to home improvements. Tyrone was a Golden Gloves Boxer. He also enjoyed photography, fishing, basketball and music. Which he demonstrated by DJ’ing at special events. Tyrone was family oriented and a people person. With he’s infectious smile and personality he was able to make his friends feel like family. If you call for him, he’s coming. This is how he touched so many lives.

Tyrone is preceded in death by his father, William T. Hawkins Sr., mother, Cleida Allen, Sister Loretta, Brother William, Michael, Warren and grandson Tyquan.

Tyrone is survived by his sons Ezana, Tyrone, Tywong, Niko, and daughter Kenyata. The mother of his children , Marchella Boston; eight surviving sisters: Delores, Patricia, Beatrice, Jeanette, Yvonne, Clarissa, Cleida, Brenda, and surviving brother, David Tyrone has multiple grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins neighborhood daughters, Antoinette Mann and Perri Mackey, Special friends, Moose, AJ, Joe, Otis, Darnel and Perry.

PUBLIC Visitation 9:00 AM

PRIVATE Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

A MASK IS MANDATORY.

Interment at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
