Tyrus Ronald Hampton

Tyrus Hampton was born in Chicago, IL on March 17th, 1991, to his mother, Vernell Wilson and father, Thomas Hampton.

He Attended Marshall High School and later moved to Columbus, Ohio to start a new life. He completed his life journey to go home to be with the Lord on November 25th, 2023.

Tyrus was loved by all the children in his family. All you would hear, was “Uncle Tyrus.” Tyrus was always smiling and cracking jokes.

Tyrus leaves to cherish his loving memories, his parents, his Grandparents (who preceded him in death.) His grandmothers, Mary Wilson & Bonita Brooks; his grandfathers (who preceded him in death), Art Dunn and Thomas Greer; nine siblings, Trinette, Taron, Travis, Thomas, Porsha, Theoaplis, Darrin, Laevin, Precious, a great host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins and friends.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
