Vincent Charles Kirk Sr., a beloved son, father, and brother, peacefully passed away on October 16, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 53. He was born on October 12, 1970, in Laurel, Mississippi, to his proud parents, Fred Little Sr. and Patricia Payton.

Vincent was a talented chef and dedicated his career to Barcelona Restaurant and Bar, where he passionately cooked and delighted countless customers with his culinary creations. Known for his warm and welcoming smile, Vincent made everyone feel like family. He possessed an unwavering love for his grandchildren and cherished moments spent cooking, watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, fishing, and showcasing his extensive collection of Jordans, with a special fondness for the 12’s.

Vincent leaves behind his significant other of 18 years, Evelyn Graves, who supported him throughout life’s joys and challenges. He will forever be by his son, Vincent Kirk Jr., daughters, Keshia Jones, Jasmine Kirk, India Merritt, and Ayana Kirk, and his children’s mother, April Merritt. Vincent’s presence extended beyond his immediate family, as he was a loving stepfather to Semaj Jones, and his love and wisdom will forever shape their lives.

Vincent’s memory will be cherished by his grandchildren, LaAdrianna Jones, Karmello Weatherspoon, McKenzie Weatherspoon, Demetrya Lawson, Dequise Jackson Jr., Jezelle Weatherspoon, Marquise Jackson, Perfect Jackson, Brian Edwards III, Sanaa Person, Briyon Edwards, and Bryce Edwards. He also leaves behind his brothers, David House, Jabyron Brown, Fred Little Jr, and Corey Little, who will forever hold special memories of their time together.

Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Fred Little Sr., his beloved mother, Patricia Payton, as well as his sister, Felicia Campbell, and brother, Cornelius “Al” Barnett. Their memories will forever be treasured as part of Vincent’s legacy.

Vincent Charles Kirk Sr., will forever be remembered for his caring nature, infectious laughter, and the love he showered upon his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Visitation 9:00 AM and Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, November 4, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.). Interment at Union Cemetery.
