As embalmer, you must have a heart to serve. You will prepare remains for services. The main objective is to satisfy the family. This includes preservation and disinfection of the deceased. You must be thorough and have an eye for detail. The embalmer must be knowledgeable about embalming chemicals and techniques to make give the family a life like moment with their loved one. This position includes an on-call rotation.

Funeral Director
As funeral director, you must have a heart to serve. You will manage, prepare, and direct funerals. The main objective is to satisfy the family and their needs. You will be the direct contact for the family, answering questions, directing them to appropriate resources. The Funeral Director must be knowledgeable about Ohio Laws, Rules and Regulations. The Director is responsible for collecting information for the death certificate and getting it signed. This person will also be responsible for contacting insurance companies and getting proper paperwork completed for payment; submitting newspaper notices, program material and ordering services and merchandise for services. You are responsible for making sure the family has everything needed for all aspects of the services. You are the liaison between the family and the owner of the funeral home, and vendors. Funeral directors may at times be asked to perform tasks such as dressing, casketing, and application of cosmetics. This position includes an on-call rotation.

Funeral Attendant
As a funeral attendant, you must heart to serve. You assist the family during the funeral. This is a rewarding position for a person with a warm smile, emphatic heart, helpful demeanor and excellent communication skills. Funeral Attendants perform a variety of tasks during funerals to assist funeral directors and to ensure that services run smoothly and as planned. The duties include, but are not limited to, setting up for the service, greeting guests, arranging floral arrangements, light cleaning and administrative duties. It is your responsibility to be readily accessible to assist the family at anytime during the service. Associates in this position will be called when hours are available.
Requirements:
Family Viewing Attendant, you must have a heart to serve. You assist the Funeral Director the family during their private viewing. The private viewing, generally, is the first time the family will see their loved one after the death. Remain with the family for a few minutes after they have all viewed, then give them some privacy. Remain close because it is your responsibility to be readily accessible to assist them at any time during their viewing. The purpose of this position is to free up the funeral directors, and other staff. It is expected that you can setup, conduct, and conclude a family view without assistance.

As the receptionist, you are the usually the first person people interact with. A positive first impression is an important start to building a relationship. Whether the interaction is over the Receptionist, you must have a heart to serve. Phone or in-person, the initial impression can set the tone for the entire experience. Please do not forget this. As the receptionist you will serve families and vendors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notify the necessary personal of the arrival; take first calls; providing administrative support across the organization; handle the flow of people through the funeral home; ensure that all responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Media Attendant, you must have a heart to serve. You are responsible for the media aspect of the funerals including, but not limited to, website, Funeral Screen, and DVD Tributes, Streaming.
